Health & Wellness

Brain and body are integrated in a complex and unique manner. This suggests that emotions and feelings can lead to systemic changes in the body. Better understanding this complexity through succinct information and explanation helps patients to better understand their symptoms/diagnoses and make reasonable and informed decisions regarding their treatment.

My wellness philosophy and focus integrates nutrition and exercise as an essential element of treatment. Obesity is on the rise; 54% of the American population is overweight today, and 1 in 4 is obese. These trends suggest diseases like Diabetes Mellitus Type II will impact 25% of the American population in a decade or so. Obesity-related disorders contribute to significant morbidity and mortality. Because of this, I have incorporated a weight management program to help those patients in need of such a program adopt a healthier nutrition and exercise-based lifestyle. An individual approach to each patient’s weight issues is formulated – with no adherence to typical generic versions that exist on the market today. Importantly, each patient is medically supervised and receives balanced medical, dietary, and psychological support.
